After assembling a rope and pulley system with several winches to get Meabh and the pram out of the car, we stared perplexed at the range of 'special' trolleys for babies. They generally look like terrifying torture devices, but after seeing some other babies using them, we might be even braver and try one of those next time...

Yes - you do feel smug using the parent and child parking spaces - not so smug tho' when you put the car seat precariously onto the trolley and realise you can't see a damn thing when pushing it. Other shoppers beware!
I usually have that trouble with trolleys, even without a baby on the top!
