It seemed like one of those 'parent for the first time' things to do - taking our new daughter out for a walk in the pram. We got her all dressed up, worked out (eventually) how to work the pram (sorry, 'travel system'), and then struck out on an adventure. However, our 10 minute walk around the village soon became very wet when the heavens seriously opened. I'm sure we looked like terrible parents as we wheeled Meabh along in the pouring rain. She didn't seem to mind though, and remained fast asleep throughout the whole experience...And then came the bath - also for the first time. I'm sure I read somewhere that babies love having baths. Unfortunately, this one didn't, and instructed me in no uncertain terms not to do that to her again, thank you very much.

The bathing should get better honest - Alexander screamed at his first bath but he soon learned to love it! She looks so lovely and you seem to be settling into parenthood very quickly. Looking forward to meeting her soon. xxx
Freddie also loves his bath - he splashes so much that Lorraine doesn't bother getting dressed before she does it. As soon as those taps start running Fred stops what he is doing and turbo crawls to the bathroom to see the water go into the bath.
I remember the first time we took Freddie out - it was only when we got back to the car that we realized we didn't know how to close the buggy. I had visions of towing it home...
